========================================================================== This is a Slackware Linux repackaged version of Glide. It was put together by David Cantrell (david@slackware.com) with sources obtained from http://linux.3dfx.com/ Please refer to the original Glide license file that accompanies each vg* package. It is in /usr/doc/Glide3/. ========================================================================== This directory contains packages for adding 3Dfx support to Slackware. All of the packages in this directory can be installed using the "installpkg" command. Refer to the man page for installpkg for more information. More information regarding the packages is below the table. So what packages do you need to install? Here's a table of what's what: ----------------------------------------------------------------- PACKAGE | DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------- vg-glide.tgz | Glide for Voodoo Graphics based boards v2-glide.tgz | Glide for Voodoo 2 based boards v3-glide.tgz | Glide for Voodoo 3/Banshee based boards vr-glide.tgz | Glide for Voodoo Rush based boards v3-dri.tgz | Glide 3.x with DRI support for the Voodoo3/Voodoo Banshee sdk2x.tgz | Only if you plan on compiling software to use | the Glide 2.x rasterization library sdk3x.tgz | Only if you plan on compiling software to use | the Glide 3.x rasterization library mesagl.tgz | Mesa 3.2 compiled with support for Glide fxt1.tgz | Command line Advanced Texture Compression utilities xtdfx.tgz | XFree86 DRI server for the Voodoo3/Voodoo Banshee desktop.tgz | A demo program (only for Voodoo3/Banshee cards). donut.tgz | A demo program. surf.tgz | A demo program. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Voodoo 3 and Voodoo Banshee X support (2D only) is provided by our native XF86_SVGA server in the X series.
